ASC ARCHITECTS NEW OFFICE
The ASC Architects new office was a refurb of a typical 70s developer's building in Ponsonby, Auckland. This building had many tenants over the years and was in poor condition with a low seismic rating.
The brief for this project was to upgrade the existing building in order to provide a nice design environment for the staff of ASC Architects to work collaboratively.
Work included a new atrium and stairs connecting both floors, exposed seismic strengthening to 100% NBS, new services, and a new folded mesh sunscreen on the street elevation. This has completely transformed the building making it the perfect long-term home for ASC Architects.
