TSA MANAGEMENT

This project for TSA Management is located within the heart of Britomart and is their first Auckland Premise.

The interior design creates a space that is a calming respite from the intense activity of the surrounding city. To achieve this goal, residential and office design principles were combined to create a workspace where the office environment seamlessly integrates into the everyday lives of all users.

The space planning strategy creates a seamless flow from the moment you enter the floor, leading the user directly to an open and inviting front of house area. Utilitarian functions such as kitchens, meeting rooms, storage and printing areas are consolidated around the core. This allows the perimeter functions: open office, collaboration, and social spaces, to utilise the outlook and natural light. The front of house area is orientated to emphasise the expansive views of the surrounding city and harbour. This social space is designed to be multi-functional, serving everyday social activities, rest, and collaboration as well as entertaining and larger events – adapting to suit the evolving business requirements.

The palette is comprised of natural and raw materials alongside earthy tones and textures. The material selections emphasize the connection to the land, providing a soft and textural backdrop to a busy workplace. This approach reflects the wider environmental context of Aotearoa and enhances a sense of place, which can be recognised by both international and local visitors.
